THEMES for 2012 are:

CIRCUS!

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

ROUGH DIAMOND

HEAD CANDY (supporting our selected charities)

See the list of prizes on our home page. There will also be Highly Commended awards, and of course, a Best in Show choice. And your creation will be seen by our celebrity judging panel and several thousand spectators.

This year we also have a special new theme for BODY ART: we invite established Body Art practitioners to enter this adult-only theme. Get more information here.

The themes provide inspiration for your costume, and you should ensure that you have interpreted your selected theme, and can describe how it inspired you in your artist's statement, which must accompany your entry.

CATEGORIES

There are several categories for entrants, with different entry fees and different levels of prizes for each category. Several of these are also age-restrictive. Please note that it is the DESIGNER of the costume who wins the prize, and it is the designer's age at the time of the festival that dictates which of these categories is appropriate.

Please see our document that fully describes the Themes and Categories for entries.

Wearable Art Painswick is open to all. If you have concerns over any special requirements (wheelchair access, for example) then please contact us.
