Visiting Painswick and the Wearable Art Festival
Painswick is a beautiful village in the heart of the Cotswolds. Why not spend a weekend here in one of the hotels and B&Bs in the area and take the opportunity to visit this lovely part of the world. In August the village has an Arts Festival that includes a show from the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen, and the Wearable Art Festival is proud to be associated with local artists.
Painswick boasts a picturesque churchyard with 99 yew trees, many fine Cotswold buildings, shops, pubs, hotels, restaurants, and a country atmosphere. Cheltenham, Stroud and Gloucester are all within easy reach, and the surrounding countryside is England at its best.
